Alpine Sightseeing and Hiking
Ride high-tech lifts and fully enclosed gondola to the wonderful alpine world. High above the Village on Whistler Mountain you can enjoy a leisurely stroll through alpine meadows bursting with wildflowers and hike marked trails that lead to serene alpine lakes.

Summer programs include informal walks by qualified mountain hosts eager to share their knowledge of the local history, flora and fauna. The mountain also features seven designated hiking trails, each with varying degrees of difficulty and accessibility. Glacier tours are also available in the early summer. Before the snow pack recedes, take in a guided trek on snowshoes or in a snowcoach and access special wildlife viewing and photo opportunities with the whole family.

Free PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola information tours are being given by Whistler Blackcomb Mountain Hosts throughout the summer. Guests are invited to meet at the Whistler P2P terminal every hour on the hour from 11am - 3pm daily.

Connecting Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains, the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola is an engineering marvel breaking three world records.

• Highest lift of its kind at 436 metres above the valley floor

Climbing and Mountaineering
Discover Whistler's spectacular back-country with a professional guide, from day-hikes to expeditions. All guides are SCMG certified.

Fishing
Sign up for guided summer fishing trips to secret valley and alpine locations, accessed by 4x4 vehicle, boat, helicopter or plane. 'Catch and release' is strongly encouraged. Licenses are required and can be purchased at various locations throughout the Valley.

Fitness Center / Health Club

Olympic Venues

Squash courts may be booked in advance at The Meadow Park Sports Centre.

River Rafting/ Jet Boating
Local Whistler rafting companies offer everything from an hour long float trip to a multi-day adventure exploring the many rivers in the Whistler area. Jet boaters will see adventure-seekers zipping through the headwaters to view waterfalls and wildlife, and then riding the waves for an unforgettable thrill.

Scenic and white water rafting excursions, 'Raft and Dine' and 'Saddle and Paddle' trips are available on local lakes and rivers through many local rafting companies.

Swimming
Go for an invigorating swim in The Fairmont Chateau Whistler lap pool - complete with underwater music, or relax in one of the four hot tubs and Eucalyptus steam rooms. Whistler also boasts a collection of crystal clear mountain lakes and sandy beaches to enjoy throughout the Valley including Lost Lake, Alta Lake and Alpha Lake.

Zip Lining
With Ziptrek EcoTours, ride on a series of zipline cables, some as long as 2000 feet and 200 feet above the forest floor. Backcountry Programs
Let Whistler Blackcomb's experienced ACGM guides and instructors take you on a tour of Whistler's impressive backcountry. Pre-registration is required.

Cross Country Skiing
Overall Whistler offers an incredible 120+ kilometres of cross country trails ranging from beginner to expert.

• Lost Lake trails travel through Lost Lake Park and alongside The Fairmont Chateau Whistler Golf Club and the Nicklaus North Golf Course. Four kilometres of trails are also lit for night skiing. Minimal trail pass rates apply. 
• Ski Callaghan, which includes the Whistler Olympic Park - site of the Nordic events for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, and Callaghan Country Lodge offer public cross country skiing on more than 90 kilometres of trails groomed for both classic and skate skiing. In addition, there are 20 kilometres of dedicated snowshoe trails.

 Fishing
Sign up for guided winter fishing trips to secret river locations and catch salmon, steelhead, trout and char.

Flightseeing
Breathtaking scenic glacier tours, landings, heli-picnics, backcountry skiing and snowshoeing are all options. Charter service is also available from a number of helicopter companies.

Heli-Skiing
Heli-skiing is the perfect activity for intermediate and advanced skiers looking to add a thrilling new dimension to their ski vacation.

Alternatively, enjoy indoor ice skating or drop-in hockey at Whistler's Meadow Park Sports Centre. Skate rentals are available at the arena.

Celebrate the history of the Lil'wat and Squamish Nations through art displays, interactive performances, Whistler crafts, and guided tours. This First Nations Aboriginal centre is located across the street from The Fairmont Chateau Whistler resort.

Whistler Blackcomb Kids
