Fairmont Chengdu, China

The Fairmont Hotels brand dates back to 1907 and has been the preferred hotel choice of celebrities, politicians and artists for over a century. Regarded by the British royal family as their “home away from home”, Fairmont Hotels is renowned for their excellence in service. From the drafting of the United Nations Charter in the Garden Room of Fairmont San Francisco in 1945, Claude Monet’s paintings of Thames River from his room at the Savoy in London, to Noel Coward completing his famous play “Private Lives” at Fairmont Peace Hotel in Shanghai. Fairmont Hotels have bore witness to important events throughout history.
