My trip had a good experience with Fairmont Hotel. Hotel location is good and the way of welcome I like much, Evening Hi tea and cultural activity enjoy a lot. Food quality is Very good and hotel staff was very helpful. Only one thing i was not like is that room was much suffocated and fan was not working properly. Except this overall experience was very good.
Right from check inn to check out nothing was pleasant It may be rated a 5 star but its a disappointment Its just a high end dhabha meant to cater wedding guest nothing more , for obvious reasons guest at wedding have a good reason. But for individual guest its nothing less than a nightmare Check in. 45 mins Luggage 20 mins Call house keeping - wait 2 hours for towel or a bottle of water Call in room dining - 1 hour minimum with cold food Maintenance- 2 calls to fix ac approx 2.5 hours If i start writing it will take may be more than 2 days equivalent to my duration of stay Only good thing Lavish buffet breakfast And duty manager ( Rahul) else would have checked out the same night.
I had booked reservation a day before by calling up reservation desk as I wanted to book Aravali facing rooms and thought this could be messed up had i booked through travel portel. I reached hotel with my wife and senior citizen parents at 3 PM and were told to wait for sometime as someone from reception would come and complete checkin formality but they forgot and when i approached reception after 30 minutes did they take our IDs. I wasn't allocated Aravali facing rooms but city facing rooms and when I insisted for it, they said all those rooms are occupied as the hotel is on high occupancy. Finally we were allocated rooms at 6 PM on 2nd floor for time being with an assurance that 2 rooms were getting ready at 6th Floor. I somehow kept my cool despite being not allowed to speak to the GM. We were finally moved to 6th floor and bang opposite our rooms, construction was going in full stream. I kept requesting front office manager to let me speak to the General Manager but i was informed that he was not in the hotel however he was roaming at the lobby only and I had to approach him and ask him if he was the GM of the hotel. We were offered complimentary wine, dinner, Spa and what not to forget the whole expierence but we rejected it all. On 14th night at midnight, all of a sudden, set up started at the pool area (disturbing noise) for next day wedding, we called up the front office to stop it but no action was taken and I nd my wife had to go down to the receprion and ask for lobby manager. All this while I enquired if GM was in-house, I was told he doesn't stay in the hotel. Surprised to note that the GM doesn't stay in hotel. At the time of checkout on 15th I was expecting atleast Room operations head or GM to pay a visit however i was told both of them weren't available. instead I was again offered to not pay for my food bills to keep my mouth shut. But i insisted and made the payment. In the nutshell, I think situation could have been handled better had senior guys of the hotel intervened at the right time and taken things seriously. They lacked empathy and wasn't even bothered with all the inconvenience caused to us. We did out best to forgot the bad expierence of check in and the rooms that were allocated to us by 14th however all of a sudden at midnight we started to hear voices of people. GM was least bothered and did not even make and try to call me the next day or even now (2 days after check out) to make me understand how in the world all things went bad during our entire stay. My stays in Oberois, Taj have been much better in terms of services offered by employees. My mother's birthday was on 15th and we had requested for a cake, which was placed but was of inferior quality ( stale) and i had never tasted such a bad cake in my life. I had reported this to the Front office manager too. While i had reported the matter of noise disturbance at midnight to the Front office manager on what's app, he stopped responding to my messages after sometime and Reverted back the next morning with just a one line message. I was surprised to note that no one even felt apologetic and just offered freebies in the form of complimentary wine, dinner buffet, spa which we gracefully denied. Overall while property is good but expierence with hotel employees was worst except Neeraj ( Server in Zoya), young chap with a pleasant personality. Hope someone will take note of this now and do something so that it isn't repeated with other guests in future.

Being greeted by Mr Bath, Director of Rooms and his team the experience at Fairmont does not start at the lobby but at the very entrance with loud but soothing drums. While the drums may stop in the evening the warmth with which the staff receives stays 24x7. Well done room ensuring comfort spoils you to extra courtesy of the housekeeping staff and everyone else involved. Supported by a big team behid the curtain our stay as a couple for 4 nights was remarkable from all standards and redefined luxury stay for us. Service at every step is primarily focused on ensuring guests have an enjoyable stay and fall in love with the place.
We had a lovely stay at the Fairmont resort.The staff was very humble ,we were very happy with Kulkrirat services to us.We will surely visit again

Every thing other than Food was good there was enough varieties but missed out on taste. Room service was very disappointing.
