Lake Louise is the perfect basecamp for your power-filled adventures. Not only is there a ski resort in town, but there are two other resorts, Sunshine Village and Mount Norquay, within a one-hour drive away. 

With over 4200 skiable acres, Lake Louise Ski Resort is the second largest ski resort in Canada and one of the largest in North America. Beginners and intermediate skies can enjoy the abundance of gentle slopes and long cruising runs. Advanced skiers can explore some of the Rockies' most challenging terrain and explore chutes, glades and gullies. With beginner, intermediate and expert runs accessible from every chair, families and groups of varying abilities can stick together. Prepare to admire some of the most spectacular and awe-inspiring scenery you have ever seen from this world-class resort.

No equipment? No problem! Chateau Ski & Snow offers high performance rentals so you can enjoy everything our winter wonderland has to offer.

The ski resort is open from mid-November to early May and is a 10 minute drive from Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. A complimentary shuttle service is available for hotel guests.
