Fairmont Loves Film

Over the past century, it’s become clear that Fairmont loves cinema—and cinema loves Fairmont.

In fact, our properties have taken center stage in more than 250 feature films around the world. From classic Shanghai dramas to modern-day Hollywood blockbusters, our stately facades and lavish interiors have shared the screen with actors such as Audrey Hepburn, Humphrey Bogart and Leonardo DiCaprio in films by directors such as Alfred Hitchcock, Steven Spielberg and Sydney Pollack.

Through film footage, stills and interviews, the Fairmont Loves Film exhibition showcases a singular partnership that has lasted for nearly 100 years, across nine landmark properties on three continents.

Exhibition Photos

The heart of Fairmont Loves Film is the collection of photographs and stills from films that featured a Fairmont property in some capacity.

From behind-the-scenes looks at Marilyn Monroe to one of Meryl Streep’s most beloved roles, you can take a look at how Fairmont co-stars with some of the leading lights of cinema.
