PURE LUXURY ******
This is a new luxurious property in Sale, Morocco, just across the river from Rabat. In all of our travels, this hotel was truly the most welcoming, hospitable, and most beautiful hotel we have ever stayed in. The staff at this hotel were the kindest, warmest, most helpful staff we've come across in all of our travels. They really aim to please their guests; no request is too big or too small. I know I am missing names, but I did write a few down before departure. Due to a scheduling conflict we had to change hotels. I'd like to thank Christelle Quaren-Melchior, Director of Sales, for the amazing job she did facilitating that change, and our subsequent changed reservation at the Fairmont. Obviously, we communicated via email, and her responses were very pleasant, professional and prompt. The hotel reception was truly a welcoming experience. I'd like to say a special thank you to both Hajar at reception as well as Narjiss in Guest Relations. We had a mishap with a scheduled tour with ToursByLocals that was cancelled the day before we were to go on the tour. Since no other agent in the area conducted that private tour, we were only provided with the option of re-booking another tour, none of which appealed to us. My husband spoke with the Concierge, Achraf, and he pulled out all the stops finding both a driver and a private Tour Guide the following day. Honestly, with such short notice, I was truly amazed he was able to pull this off for us, and it was beyond appreciated! The tour was also amazing, I might add! We have traveled extensively from ocean cruising, to river cruising, to land tours, African safari and the Galapagos! In all of our travels, there is one PERFECT omelet. The person that makes that omelet is Jihane at the Fairmont La Marina Rabat Sale. I was so impressed by the omelet that I went over to ask Jihane what she put in it. She said, "salt, pepper and a whole lot of love." Well, Jihane, I tasted the love. Thank you! The breakfast buffet was extraordinary, and the coffee service provided by Sojiane was very much appreciated as well; it was the perfect cup! Finally, after many hours of travel over the Atlantic, hectic maneuvering through airports, we arrived to a very stressful pick-up situation. Our car service driver was in a horrible car accident on his way to pick us up at the airport in Casablanca ending him in hospital! Hopefully he's OK! We had to be sent another driver and that took a considerable amount of time to sort through. Finally, upon our arrival to the hotel, we were greeted with the most delightful, sweetest Foof Fur Ball at the entrance of the hotel; a little lazy, but the FLUFF was all it took for all my worries to melt away.
