We stayed for a very special event. While it was noted with a card, nothing else was done. The server at the pool was extremely rude to me (English speaking) but very pleasant to my spouse (French speaking) only minutes later. The staff at the hotel were not overly friendly and seemed annoyed when asked questions. The overall feeling of the resort is too pretentious even for a Fairmont. It doesn’t matter what caliber of guests you are catering to, the staff should be polite AND friendly. Compared the the Queen Elizabeth and the Frontenac, this hotel is very much missing the mark here.
We had a wonderful experience. Nice rooms and facilities. Casino is also quite nice and lots of fun. I wish I had golfed. My colleagues said it's the nicest golf course they've played.

We were looking forward to this stay, having heard so many wonderful things about the Manoir Richelieu. It’s one of the most expensive hotels in Canada We’ve stayed at several Fairmont hotels and by far the service at the manoir Richelieu was the poorest. The hotel was not busy on a rainy Tuesday. After declining valet car service the attendants didn’t even bother to open the doors for us when we brought our luggage inside, also never opened the doors any other time either. At the bar the server didn’t bring coasters or napkins also didn’t ask us if we wanted anything else after serving our complimentary drinks even though I left a tip. We requested extra pillows which came without pillowcases. At 8am the cleaning lady tried to enter our room. The men’s toilets in the downstairs lobby were all plugged. On the positive side the breakfast buffet and service in the Bellerive restaurant was very good. Needless to say we won’t be returning to this Fairmont hotel.

We stayed 2 nights in a very comfortable room. We felt very pampered and relaxed. The staff from the front desk to the cleaners were all very nice. There is so much to see and do that the time just flies by. We always enjoy our stays there and look forward to returning.
A beautiful hotel in a marvelous location. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable
