L'Île aux Coudres (4-5 Hrs - by car)
Located a one-hour drive away from Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu, l'Île aux Coudres is a peaceful island on the St Lawrence River boasting a scenic road with magnificent views over Charlevoix and the river, as well as cultural and agrotouristic activities.

Discover Pointe-au-Pic (2 Hrs – by foot)
When leaving the hotel grounds, walk down Richelieu Street and discover beautiful vistas, century-old houses, arts, and culture. After a short walk, you will come across Laurent Lafleur (local painter) art shop. Further down Richelieu Street (continue across Comporte Street), there are a few other art galleries Louise B. and as well as some fine examples of the early 1900’s Quebec architecture. At the end of Richelieu Street, turn right on Comporte Street where you can stroll on the side of the St-Laurent River. There is a cycling way on the riverside of the street, very popular in summer for roller blades or just walking to enjoy the breathtaking view. After a short walk, turn left on du Havre Street. This street will take you to the pier, which is located just down the cliff on which Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu stands. Just at the entrance of du Havre Street, you will see the Charlevoix Museum. At the pier area, you will get to du Quai Street, on which there are a few inns, restaurants, bars and more art shops. You can stop and enjoy a nice ice cream on the pier walkway with the kids, or just relax on a terrace during the sunny days.

When you are ready to make your way back, go left on du Quai Street. Almost at the end of the street, you will get to a stairway leading up to the Casino de Charlevoix and Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu. After climbing the stairs, you will be in the trails that surround the hotel and casino, take a left. You can continue your journey on our very own hiking trail offering self guided solar system and botanical tour as well as dazzling views over the river.

Cap-à-l’Aigle, St-Fidèle, Port-au-Persil (2 Hrs – by car)
When leaving the Hotel Grounds, take Richelieu Street and drive to Comporte Street. Turn right on Comporte Street and continue by the river, to the intersection by the bridge. Turn right on Route 138, eastbound (you will be going across the bridge) and keep right after the bridge to continue on Route 138. You will be arriving at Cap-à-l’Aigle village, exit right on St-Raphael Street. In the village, you can visit beautiful lilac gardens (in season) or go down to the pier at the foot of the cliff. 

Continue through on St-Raphael Street, it will take you back to Route 138. Turn right and continue eastbound on Route 138. After a few minutes, you will reach the village of St-Fidèle. If you are a cheese lover, be sure to stop over at Fromagerie St Fidèle, where fresh Cheddar cheese is prepared daily. Ice cream is also available (in season).

Continue eastbound on Route 138 until you reach Port-au-Persil Street. Exit right on Port-au-Persil Street and continue to the heart of the village. At Port-au-Persil, you can visit a pottery, a soap factory or simply get out of the car and go for a nice walk on the shore. There is also an old chapel in the village.
