The hotel is amazing, very friendly and supportive team, especially someone in the reception called moustafa, he is providing exceptional service to the guests
I arrived at the Fairmont and asked if an upgrade is possible as I am a Gold Accor member. Muhammad at the desk asked that he would have to check with his manager. After checking with his manager he informed me that ‘yes, they can give me an upgrade’. I think they gave me a downgrade rather than an upgrade. I was assigned the room that is literally at the end of the hall, with no relevant view except the parking downstairs at the hotel. There was no menu sticker in the room, nobody from reception would cater to the request to send a menu. After which, I reached out to Room service who also took 15-20 minutes to bring it. Last time I stayed at the Fairmont, I had the same room size, it was just on the 3rd floor instead of the 5th but it atleast had a much better view. This was simply a very poor experience, maybe Accor hotels should learn how to service loyal customers from Bonvoy.

Fromm the moment you arrive at the hotel to the moment (you sadly) leave, the staff here are amazing. From greetings at the door from Musuffa and Ali on reception to Mann in the restaurant, taking my egg order each morning; you feel thoroughly looked after. I'm sorry I can't remember everyone's name to include here, but Mr Rolf Lippuner your staff are excellent. Unfortunately, I can't give 10/10 due to the limited gluten-free options (I had the same bread for 6 days) and the ladies only pool sessions didn't allow operate in the evenings, when we returned to the hotel from our office. Overall, I'd recommend this hotel and congratulate the staff on everything they do to make the customer feel special.
Breakfast is amazing, specially the waffles’ station (this lady chef deserves a raise). Room was very neat, clean and spacious with nice and healthy snacks options. Check out was delayed which is the reason for the one star short in my review. It took them 15 minutes to check me out!
