In the 1940s, the Fairmont San Francisco hotel pool was transformed into a popular nightspot where the band played on a floating barge. Today, the Island Groove provides the soundtrack at our Polynesian-themed restaurant in San Francisco. If the music moves you, hit the dance floor crafted from a salvaged South Seas schooner. The Island Groove plays nightly from 7pm. At this time, an entertainment cover charge of US$15 applies to each guest seated in the restaurant or bar, regardless of arrival time. The fee is waived for registered Fairmont hotel guests.
