From the moment we arrived to the day we had to leave was a first class experience. The staff were so helpful. The restaurant was superb and our room we could not fault. The attention to detail was amazing. Our breakfast was beautiful. We booked tickets for the savoy theatre and the theatre was lovely and the seating was great.
Nice staff, nice place, overall really nice place.
Have sent e mail. As not happy with having no cups and saucers in our room , tea bags not nice and had to ask house services to bring sugar. And it was my birthday and was greeted with ONE small pastry they sent Up pot of tea and 2 small biscuits. But on leaving the pot of tea was on my bill so had to ask to remove, the manager that came to the room did not really seem to care

We are regular visitors and it is nice to be recognised. The staff are extremely attentive and efficiently sorted out a couple of special requests we had. The only area where the staff are not so on the ball is the guest lounge.

Our experience started well before we arrived with wonderful assistance from the concierge team, arranging transportation, procuring theater tickets and confirming dinner reservations. These services were rendered in a most professional and efficient manner. Upon arrival we were pleasantly greeted by the doorman who recognized me as a return guest. The individual at the front desk was delightful and most helpful and introduced us promptly to our butler. Callum gave us a personal tour which enabled me to quickly become reacquainted with the property. After orienting us to the beautiful river view junior suite, he was able to arrange to have necessary suit pressing arranged in time for dinner. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner that first evening at the Savoy Grill. During our stay we thoroughly enjoyed our suite which was maintained very well by the housekeeping team. Our only minor complaint was the noise emanating from the adjoining area one evening from a party that went on well into the wee hours. The sound seemed to be coming from the Royal suite next door. It was very noticeable, but not a major problem for us. All of our breakfast meals in the hotel were very good and the servers were very pleasant. On Tuesday evening we had tickets for Sunset Boulevard and so we needed to expedite dinner in the River Restaurant and this was handled extremely well by the principal server. The tickets had been procured by your concierge team and the seats were superb. During our stay the concierge team also helped us procure tickets on short notice for Churchill War Rooms. This tour was particularly meaningful since our dads served in World War II and my mother-n-law lived through the bombing in Leeds during the War. As we were preparing for departure on the morning of our last day, owing to rainy weather and heavy traffic, I requested an accelerated time for transportation to the airport which was arranged by concierge on very short notice. Our overall experience was superb and we hope to be able to return.
So my Savoy adventure started with booking with reservations. I dealt with Chanique who was ever so helpful with options and prices. It was so easy and informative speaking to her. After confirming my stay I then emailed a couple of days later to organise champagne and balloons for the room. I had a lovely email back from Sadia who helped with all my questions and ensured it was all within my budget on celebration ideas for the room. Sadia was very informative and had all the answers to my questions. Day of arrival was amazing. We arrived in a taxi and our luggage was handled so we just had to check in. We were meet by the very smiling welcoming Max. Our arrival was earlier than I anticipated so we were shown to the bar and had a complimentary birthday drink as the stay was for my partners 50th birthday. The room was ready within minutes of us sitting down but there was no rush for us to go up. We stayed in the Marlene Dietrich suite. It was wonderful spacious, spotlessly clean, mini bar, books and dvds about Marlene. It most definitely feels like home from home. From start to finish The Savoy made my partners dream of waking up at the Savoy on his 50th a reality and so so special. We had breakfast in our room which was superb.
