Our stay this time around didn't quite match up to the amazing experience we had last year. Unlike our previous visit, we weren't given a tour of the place or offered breakfast, which was a letdown. It was our wedding anniversary, but there was no acknowledgment of the occasion. While the room was nice, it lacked that unique touch and felt somewhat generic. To make matters worse, we were repeatedly woken up during the night by the sound of bottles being thrown into a bin nearby, affecting our sleep and overall comfort. Considering what we spent, we expected a higher level of service and attention. Unfortunately, this visit didn't live up to our expectations. Even when we reached out to the hotel via email to share our concerns, the response was AI generated and lacked a personal touch which sums up our experience this time at the hotel Looking back, we had a fantastic time during our last visit, but this time, it left us wishing we had chosen another place to stay, especially for such a special occasion like our wedding anniversary.
Through Tauck Tours my husband and I enjoyed a three night stay at The Savoy. Our stay, dining and service received from staff was excellent. I was sadden to hear that The Savoy will no longer allow Tauck Tours to secure lodging for their travelers after this year.

Had a truly relaxing and comfortable stay. Outstanding service from all staff particularly our butler Vasileios Ntantocmis. Never intrusive , yet continuously anticipating and taking care of all our requirements . The panoramic views of the river and the iconic London landmarks from every room was breathtaking. The Gucci decor and the amazing bouquets of fresh flowers in every room made for a luxurious yet calming stay. The suite did not overwhelm one with its luxury, instead with its very well equipped kitchenette and tasteful touches in every room made for a truly restful yet elegant stay. Came away inspired to add to more of the Gucci decor in my own home. Bahareh and Carmen from Gucci had organised the whole stay with incredible attention to detail all of which was carried out seamlessly. The afternoon tea in the suite with Champagne, the incredibly beautiful Gucci crockery and the projected birds, butterflies and rose petals on the tablecloth was an experience we will never forget. As were the Gucci inspired cocktails later in the suite. Dinner at the Savoy grill and the couples massage in the suite next morning was equally remarkable. Lastly had the best nights sleep in a long time, in the super comfortable mattress of the four poster bed. We had a truly phenomenal stay! From the time that we were picked up from our home to the time we were dropped back, everything worked like clockwork. Very well done Savoy and our Heartfelt thanks to all.

I asked the front desk for a room with a view. Not necessarily with water views just a room that I don’t feel depressed in. She tells me nothing was available and and I ended up in a room facing the wall. I travel to London a lot for business. This has been the worst room I’ve had at my first stay in a highly anticipated hotel. I’m very disappointed.
