Kind and helpful staff son every department, room was immaculate, bed and mattress were perfection. Made me wish I had more reasons to visit Winnipeg.

Reservation details not available at check-in but confirmed with reservation - adjoining rooms not given, late checkout not noted on reservation. Food and service in Lounge and room service very good and relaxing.
We found bedbugs, was promised a discount because of it and didn't get it. The valet, super nice and friendly, but parked my vehicle so close to the one in front of it, looked like he hit it from our room. The lounge waiter, Willem was awesome. Very attentive and kept checking on us. The second room we had was clean, but the bed itself needs to be replaced. I felt like I was sleeping in a hole in a V form all night. Quite uncomfortable. Much less great experience from the last time I went here. Oh and we found out the pool was closed only AFTER we booked, which was why we chose here in the first place. Overall not a bad stay, but definitely didn't meet expectations this time around.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Fairmont. We booked the Kiss and Wake Up package and enjoyed it. Our dog came with us for his first time in a hotel. Everyone was very good to us and our mastiff mix felt very relaxed and calm because everyone patted him. Breakfast was delicious. The only small issue we had was that the hot water tap in our room would make a noise when being used. Other than that it was a perfect evening.
Enjoy the exclusivity of the Gold Suite Area. The staff were very accommodating and very friendly.

It was a beautiful facility and rooms. I was disappointed in that they only clean the rooms every 3 days, which was the length of our stay. It seemed like a lot of money for not getting fresh towels or cleaning services. We also had to request towels as there were none in our room, again, not impressed for the amount of money we paid, even with a conference discount. The staff were friendly, front reception, valets etc were very kind and helpful. The parking if you did not need a valet, was a bit difficult as they were doing construction and it seemed all the spots were reserved except for hotel guests. You had to go almost to the very top to find a spot.

It was our 49th anniversary. We had our wedding reception at the Winnipeg Inn which is now the Fairmont and spent our wedding night there. The front desk was friendly and welcoming with congratulations and complimentary drink vouchers for us. When we arrived in our room there was a platter with cake and sweets with "Happy Anniversary" written in chocolate waiting for us. We ate in the lounge for supper and had exemplary service. Cocktails were excellent. We were treated to flutes of champagne and cake for dessert. Very nice experience.

Poor welcome and service - lack of energy and good service amongst reception and door men. Dining staff excellent.
