Enjoyable, comfort, and relax
Second time in 4months that I have booked a stay at Fairmont Makkah Clock Royal Tower and have not regretted both times. From the moment i arrived at the hotel the ambience was so welcoming and peaceful and super efficient. Even though official check-in was much later but i was provided an earlier room as i had a long flight and was in my Ihram. Have only tried their breakfast which is very good, extensive selection. Room is very comfortable and access to the Haram is quick. Only suggestion would be if the hotel could respond to queries quicker which would ease travellers arriving from long flights. Highly recommended.
I would like to be connected to the person in charge for groups because we are traveling to Makkah with a large group (around 30 people) in November, God willing.
It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Nice people all around.

Experience was not what I expected. Out bathroom flooded due to drainage issues. It took about an hour to resolve this matter resulting in delayed for prayers. There is a lot of miscommunication with staff especially when calling the front desk for things such as grabbing luggage from room for checkout. It was not a seamless process and quite stressful.
Access was easy inside of the hotel and mall and the Haram
This is my second time staying at this hotel and had lots of issues during check in. I am quite disappointed on how my check in was managed and how the issue was resolved. On my check in, the officer told me that he will give me a bed with an extra bed which I object saying that I booked a triple bed room and told me he would give me a 3 bed room. However, when I went to my room, there was only to standard twin bed. I called '0'. the operator was not able to assist and ask me to go back to the reception and I was again disappointed. I asked the call to be transferred to reception but no answer. Therefore, I have to go to the reception and join the long Q to have my room changed. He said to me that a folded extra bed will be send to the room but I again object as I booked a triple standard bed room and Not an extra bed. So, he replaced me with another room and I have to move my family again to another room at different floor. Once again, when I entered the room given, it has 3 standard single bed with an extra bed. Total 4 beds and the room smells people have been smoking in the room. The smell was strong and I was surprised that the hotel allows the guest to smoke in the room and gave me an impression that the hotel is not well managed and monitored. My family was quite upset at that time and I called '0' again and they were not able to assist and asked me to go to reception. I asked them to transfer the call to Duty manager but with no answer as well. So I have to go down to the reception again leaving my family in the 'Smelly' room. When I reached the reception another long Q I have to wait. The Guest relation officer did not bother to ask me anything as well. I approached another desk and asked for the Duty Manager. The person did not introduce himself and I assume he was the Duty manager. I told him my dissatisfaction and he told me to go back to the 'Smelly' room and he will send a supervisor to resolve it. I told him that I wanted to change room but instead he insist me to go back to the 'smelly room' first. I asked him to come with me to the room but he resist and said everything will be fine. Feeling angry, I went back to the room and waited until a housekeeping supervisor come with a can of freshener in his hand to just spray the room. I told him not to do that and I will not accept the room. So he asked me to go to the reception to ask for the room change which made me quite angry. I told him to call the Duty manager himself and I am not again going down to the reception. There was 2 concierge sending my luggage and I stopped them from unloading. I told all 3 of them to resolve my issue. After several calls made by the 3 person, I was escorted to another room by the 3 person and finally got the room that I expected. Only then my family was happy. Overall quite disappointed of how it went and how I was treated.
First time taking family and recommending relatives to come too. Really stressful period before coming including payment not being taken or fully taken until the day that I got to hotel. Had made calls to hotel and emailed numerous amount times was assured automatically payment link would be sent but that was not the case. Had been really stressful time for myself and family giving extra undue anxiety in situation not knowing if booking was assured or not. Check in was slow and extra time was not able to check in online or get faster check in being accor member. When calling Reham customer service was helpful and tried to reassure , Mnar in reception was helpful to accomadate needs for family which helped and Najwan in concierge also. As apologies the accor guest relation did give complimentary amenities which I appreciate but doesn't resolve or take place the issues that had happened there and how stressful it was when going for pilgrimage. Also had issues with fourth bed not having proper duvet and then had to get resolved too. However the location is good it's a shame with the lifts being slow or out of order and so forth. I have also recommended relatives to accor and the hotel too.

I had to deal with a highly qualified staff member his name is Mr Yaakoub, I have traveled lot and stayed at lot of Hotel and dealt with lot of customer services staff members with ups and downs but with this gentleman from Faimont Makkah clock royal tower an experience that I will never forget for the rest of my life starting from one day of my arrival to the hotel I can not describe how professional he was with his excellent communication, very polite well mannered well spoken genuine in all his promises for the duration of my 4 nights stay absolutely more then happy and satisfied I would go back and highly recommend this Hotel to anyone very very nice
