Babysitting

Babysitting services are available at the resort. Advance reservations are required and may be made through the Concierge.

Rates
$16 CAD per hour for one or two children (minimum three hours).
$19 CAD per hour for three children (minimum three hours).

Please contact the Kids Club to confirm the babysitter at least 12 hours before services are required.

Dining

At all Fairmont hotels, kids aged 5 and under eat free off the children’s menu while kids aged 6-11 eat for half price off the regular menu. New this year: The expansion of the brand’s Lifestyle Cuisine program to children’s menus - offering a healthy twist on the usual kid-friendly favorites such as chicken strips, pizza, spaghetti with meatballs and even chocolate mousse. Chefs are in the process of swapping out refined flour for whole wheat, incorporating fruits and vegetables into recipes to help meet the recommended daily fiber allowance, and employing alternative cooking methods to help ensure healthier choices are made available to young diners. 

All of our dining outlets feature our “Kids-Only” menu.

The Fairmont Banff Springs Kids' Club

Activities
We always attempt to provide a variety of activities which will cater to our guests’ unique needs and interests.  In addition to each day’s planned events, our staff has a large assortment of activities to choose from to keep everyone entertained.  Some of our scheduled activities include:

Bow River Float Trip:  Rocky Mountain Raft Tours host us as we climb aboard one of their 24-person rafts and drift along the Bow River in search of wildlife.

Golf Games:  We head down to the world famous Banff Springs Golf Club to learn how to improve our game.  This activity is great for kids of all ages as we can work on different parts of the game from putting to driving.

Photo Scavenger Hunt:  Learn how to use a digital camera while exploring the ‘Castle in the Rockies’ and the nearby area.

Banff Park Museum:  Some of the animals at the Park Museum are over 100 years old!  We either ride Banff’s ROAM transit or walk downtown, taking in some of the sights along the way.

Whether you're a seasoned bowler or you are looking for a different way to have some family fun, we offer everything you need to have a great time. An afternoon of bowling together provides a perfect way to bond as a family and have some laughs.
