From the actual golf hole design to the optical illusions created by the surrounding mountains, this golf course will delight and tempt you.
Originally designed in 1928 by Canada's master golf course architect, Stanley Thompson, the course winds along the Bow River and under the snow-capped peaks of Sulphur Mountain and Mount Rundle. In 1989, 9 holes were added to the original 18, resulting in 27 holes of championship layout.

Transportation:
The Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course Clubhouse is a 30-minute walk from the hotel. A shuttle service is available between the hotel and the Golf Clubhouse, and leaves every half hour (on the hour and half hour) from the hotel's main entrance.

5:00 am to 4:30 pm daily
Dress Code:
Collared shirts. No denim pants, shorts or shirts. No sweat pants or sweat shorts (nylon suits are acceptable). Shorts should be dress shorts with 5 inch inseam. Golf Shoes must be soft soled. Soft spikes required (available for rent at The Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Pro Shop)
Activity Fee:
All rates include shared golf power cart, unless otherwise noted, and use of Driving Range and Golf Practice Facility prior to your round. Goods and Services Tax (5%) will be added at time of purchase.
