The Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course

Renowned for its panoramic beauty, The Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course is a captivating and challenging layout set in the heart of Canada's Rocky Mountains.  Stanley Thompson, Canada’s renowned golf course architect, laid out the original 18 holes in 1928 along the winding Bow River. Transportation

Driving Directions

From Calgary International Airport

(about 1 hour 45 minutes):

  • Take Barlow Trail South to 16th Avenue
  • Go west (right) onto 16th Avenue
  • 16th Avenue becomes Trans-Canada Highway 1, which takes you right to Banff
  • You must stop at the National Park Gates to obtain your Park Pass
  • 15 minutes passed the park gates exit at the Banff/Lake Minnewanka exit.
  • At the stop sign turn left on Banff Ave.
  • Follow Banff Ave to the end and over a bridge.
  • After the bridge, turn left and stay in the left lane onto Spray Ave.
  • This street will take you directly to the front doors of the hotel

The hotel's parking is located beside the Convention Center. It is a three-level roofed parkade with 415 parking spaces:

  • Self-parking: $25 CAD/night, with unlimited access
  • Valet service is also available: $35 CAD/night, with unlimited access

Ski Shuttle

  • To/from Norquay: $10.00 per person, return
  • To/from Sunshine: $10.00 per person, return
  • To/from Lake Louise: $18.00 per person, return

Please contact the Concierge for ski shuttle schedules, as they do vary throughout the ski season.
