The Fairmont Chicago uses the services of American Childcare, a local bonded babysitting company in Chicago. American Childcare will provide your family with childcare support during the day, for those special evenings away, weekends and holidays. Bellmen are located at the Entry Pavillion and in the Main Lobby of the hotel. They will be happy to assist you with porterage and luggage storage.
The Concierge is available 24-hours a day in the Main Lobby of the hotel. They can help you arrange dinner reservations and give you directions to major attractions.
The hotel has a gift shop on the Lobby Level that is open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
The Housekeeping staff is pleased to offer twice-daily maid service to ensure the best possible comfort to all our guests. They also handle all requests for lost and found items.
Wireless Internet Access is available in The Fairmont Chicago throughout the Lobby Level and in the foyers of the 2nd, 3rd and B2 Levels. Guests may utilize this service if they have a laptop equipped with a wireless Network Interface card (N.I.C) or built in wireless device to log directly into their web portal. The cost of this service is $14.95 per use plus tax, the guests will be asked to input their credit card number at the appropriate field for automatic billing directly to their card.
Same-day laundry service and overnight shoe shine is available. Pressing service is offered 24-hours a day.
The hotel's valet parking charges (including tax) are as follows:
- Up to one hour: $20.00
- One to two hours: $28.00
- Two to 24-hours and overnight parking: $49.00
Pets under 20 pounds are permitted in the hotel. The animal must be on a leash at all times and must not be left unattended in the room. Seeing-eye dogs are always welcome and exempt of charges.
Safe deposit boxes are available at the Front Desk at no extra charge.
There are rooms at the hotel which are specially adapted for physically challenged guests. These rooms feature wide doorways, lower door handles, lower light switches and grab bars in the bathroom.
