Maui Whale Day Festival
The Pacific Whale Foundation's 36th Annual World Whale Day is one of Maui's most popular events to celebrate and honor the humpback whales that come to Maui each winter. World Whale Day kicks off at 9:00am with Maui's Parade of Whales along South Kihei Road and is followed by a day of live entertainment by top Hawai’i recording star, great food by Maui restaurants, a children's carnival, a huge "Made on Maui" artisans fair, environmental displays and more. The festivities at World Whale Day start at 10:00am and end at 7:00pm at Kalama Park in Kihei (across from Foodland on South Kihei Road.) The all-day event is free for keiki (kids) under 12 and $5 for all others.
