Savoy Grill
Since its early years of service in 1889, Savoy Grill has been one of London’s most iconic restaurants. Chef Patron Stuart Gillies, of Gordon Ramsay Holdings, oversees a menu that marks a return to the classic Escoffier-inspired grill rooms of old. Dishes include charcoal grilled chateaubriand with pommes soufflés, king crab and prawn cocktail, lime and chocolate soufflé and iced Peach Melba.
The restoration has preserved the original table plan which features the favourite tables of celebrated diners such as Winston Churchill, Oscar Wilde, Frank Sinatra and Marilyn Monroe. Details such as original 1920’s Art Deco lighting, lustrous wood panelling, bespoke silk and velvet fabrics and handmade dining chairs have restored the restaurant to its original glory while creating a fresh legacy.
A private dining room is available for up to 40 guests and the restaurant also features a signature Chef’s Table located in the heart of the kitchen.
