Our historical tours with Susan Scott, hotel archivist, are a must for any guest interested in The Savoy’s rich and iconic history. The tour includes an exclusive walk around the hotel, seeing some of the most notable rooms, hearing tales from its long history, and finishing with a glass of champagne in the Museum Bar.

Suitcase packing masterclass with a Savoy Butler and three-course dinner

Hosted by one of our internationally renowned butlers, this masterclass takes guests through the art of packing suitcases. From tips on how to plan when packing and essentials to always carry in a suitcase, to the proper way to fold clothes and maximise space. The event includes a three-course dinner in Kaspar's at The Savoy.

Hosted by a senior bartender from the American Bar or the Beaufort Bar, this masterclass is a must for guests who enjoy classic or new, innovative cocktails.  The event includes lessons on how to make four cocktails, learning about the history of spirits and the influence The Savoy had on the cocktail world; and finishes with a three-course meal in Kaspar's at The Savoy.

An incredible opportunity to sample and discuss drinks made using rare vintage spirits, dating back many years. Hosted by Simpson’s in the Strand master carvers, this class offers the unique chance to master the art of carving and to learn some best practices for cooking, selecting and presenting meat by our expert team; as well as visiting the iconic Simpson’s in the Strand kitchen. The event includes a three-course meal where the new carvers can bring their own guests and carve the meat for them.  At the end of the event, carvers get a knife set and Simpson’s apron to take home.

  • 10.00am: meeting and coffee refreshments; 10.30am: carving class and kitchen tour; 12:00pm: lunch

Guests can take home exclusive afternoon teas blends and a beautiful flowers-design bone china tea cup and a saucer made by Wedgwood, exclusively for The Savoy.
