CULTURAL PROGRAMS    

Artist In Residence - In Partnership with Mountain Galleries  
Come meet and engage with our Artist in Residence first hand in the Artist Room on Lobby Level, shopping area. These local artists are some of the best Canada has to offer.   

History Tour 
Learn about the beginnings of Banff National Park and the Banff Springs Hotel. This 30 minute tour is led by a Fairmont guide and will take you through a brief but fascinating history of the area. Registration required. 

Wilderness Walk  
Take a walk down the Spray Trail with one of Resort Animators and learn about the local mountain landscape and wildlife that roam our beautiful local area. Easy walk for all guests. Registration required. 

Campfire 
A tradition as Canadian as it comes! Warm up by a roaring fire surrounded by panoramic views. Registration required. 

Twilight Walk 
Join our Fairmont guide as they take you on a starlight walk. Learn about the National Park, hotel, nature and sky around you. Registration required.  

Snowshoe 
Take a guided tour on the popular trails around the hotel. Ages 13+ (recommended).

Forest Bathing 
Connect with nature more deeply and profoundly than ever before by joining our group forest bathing session. Registration required.

Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies 
Learn all about the history of Banff and the surrounding Rocky Mountains at the Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies. As a guest of the hotel, enjoy complimentary access to the museum during your stay. Located in the town of Banff. 

SUMMER CULTURAL ACTIVITIES

Evening Vermillion Lake Bike 
Join us for a guided bike ride along the Bow River and Vermillion Lakes Road. This is an easy-moderate 15km return bike ride. Ages 13+ (recommended). Registration required.
