Fairmont Copley Plaza's Former Canine Ambassador, Carly Copley

After six years of lovable service, Carly Copley is retired from her Canine Ambassador duties at Fairmont Copley Plaza. Carly is enjoying her retirement (and a lot of TLC) at home with her caretaker, one of the hotel’s Doormen, and his family of four. She is an eight-year-old black Lab, adopted from the hotel in 2013 from the Animal Rescue League of Boston.

As our pet-friendly hotel's Canine Ambassador, Carly accompanied guests on walks and runs throughout the city, greeted hotel guests, visited during meeting breaks upon request, and served as a community liaison by participating in several neighborhood and charitable events. Carly’s favorite place was her lobby dog bed, where she liked to greet guests and take naps, and she was often found riding (or snoozing on) the hotel’s bell carts.

Fairmont Copley Plaza welcomed a new Canine Ambassador in October 2019 named Cori Copley, a two-year-old female black Lab adopted from the Guide Dog Foundation. Learn more about Cori here.
