A $30 daily urban experience fee (plus tax) will be charged to each room per night. Included in the fee are the following benefits, daily credits cannot be combined during stay:

Food & Beverage Credit – Enjoy a $15 daily credit towards Toro by Chef Richard Sandoval, The Lobby Bar, or In Room Dining.

Leaf Spa Credit – Enjoy a $35 daily credit towards any service in Leaf Spa.

Dry Cleaning & Laundry Services – Enjoy a $10 daily credit towards in-house dry cleaning and laundry.

City Fit Tours – 25% off City Fit walking, running, and yoga sightseeing tours. Bookable online using code FAIRMONT and through our concierge service.

Transportation– 10% off airport transportation when reserved in advance through our concierge service.

Standard internet is complimentary for hotel guests. 

Dogs and cats under 40 pounds are permitted in the hotel. The animal must be on a leash at all times and must not be left unattended in the room.

 

There is a $150 non-refundable room cleaning fee for short-term stays. For stays 7-30 days, the fee is $300. Additional fees will be assessed if there are any damages incurred throughout your stay.

 

Service dogs are always welcome and exempt of charges. Please email the hotel at chicago@fairmont.com to confirm your pet will be staying with you.

  1. Does the hotel allow service animals? 
     Yes.  Service animals, which are dogs or miniature horses that have been trained to perform work or tasks for a person with a disability, are welcome.

  2. Do service animals require documentation or papers?
    No.   

  3. What if it’s not obvious that an animal is a service animal?
    We/the hotel may ask you some questions to verify that the animal is a service animal. 

  4. Is there a fee for service animals?
    There are no added fees of any kind for your service animal. 

  5. Do service animals have to wear a special collar or vest to identify themselves as service animals?
    No.

  6. Do service animals have to be on a leash?
    Generally yes, with some exceptions.

  7. Are there any size or breed limitations for service animals?
    No.

  8. Where are service animals allowed to go?
    Service animals are allowed to go wherever their owners are allowed to go, except service animals cannot go (1) inside a pool or hot tub or (2) on seats at a dining establishment.

  9. Are service animals subject to pet policies/forms/requirements? 
    No.  Service animals are not pets.

  10. Are guests with service animals limited to pet-only floors?
    No, because service animals are not pets.

  11. Can service animals be left alone in a hotel room?
    No.  Service animals are working for their owners and need to be with their owners at all times. 

  12. Can a service animal sit on hotel furniture or be fed at food and beverage venue?
    No.

  13. Under what circumstances will a service animal be excluded from a hotel? 
    A hotel will request that a service animal be removed in two situations: (1) the service animal is not housebroken or (2) is out of control and the owner fails to take action to control it.  The guest is welcome to stay without the animal.

  14. What happens if a service animal causes damage to the property?
    The guest will be charged for any damage. 

  15. Is there a cleaning fee for service animals?
    No.  If a service animal causes damage, the guest will be charged for the damage.

  16. Does the hotel allow emotional support animals?
    Emotional support animals are not service animals.  If the hotel allows pets, emotional support animals would be treated as pets and subject to any pet policies.

Limited next-day laundry service is available Monday - Saturday. Advanced notice is required.
