Step Into 5,000 Years of History

Officially opened in November 2025, the Grand Egyptian Museum stands on the edge of the Giza Plateau, approximately 2 km from the Great Pyramids. Dedicated entirely to ancient Egyptian civilization, the museum houses more than 100,000 artifacts, including 20,000 objects displayed publicly for the first time.

At the heart of the museum is the complete Tutankhamun collection, bringing all 5,398 artifacts together in one dedicated gallery for the first time.

Pyramids of Giza

GEM & The Pyramids in One Day

The museum and Giza Pyramid Complex are approximately 2 km apart, making it easy to experience both in a single day. A private car and guide allow for a seamless transfer between the two sites, with time for lunch and a relaxed exploration of the Pyramids and Sphinx.
