LEADING the way IN SUSTAINABLE HOSPITALITY

Through Fairmont’s sustainability commitments, we work to protect our coastal environment, honor our historic roots, and ensure that Fairmont Breakers Long Beach remains a beacon of responsible hospitality for generations ahead.

Our sustainable engagments

Our water conservation program is an integral part of our commitment to sustainability and a key part of our comprehensive pursuit of sustainability.

We strive to eliminate single-use plastics from the guest experience wherever possible, introducing refillable bath products, and environmentally conscious packaging to minimize waste while maintaining the highest standards of comfort.

We are actively engaged in reducing food waste throughout our hotel and dining experiences, thoughtfully planning menus, sourcing responsibly, and repurposing ingredients to ensure minimal impact without compromising quality.

Fairmont Breakers is proud to hold a 4-Green Key designation. This recognition, awarded by Green Key Global—the leading sustainability certification program for the hotel and lodging industry—highlights Fairmont Breakers national leadership and commitment to environmental stewardship. The hotel has established comprehensive programs involving management, employees, guests, and the community, which have delivered significant and measurable results.
