The famous Edwardian Room, with its beamed ceilins, wood paneling and incredible history, is available exclusively for private functions.

 

Located at the corner of Manhattan's most desirable address, The Edwardian Room at The Plaza encompasses New York’s staple sights through large windows overlooking Central Park, Grand Army Plaza, the Pulitzer Fountain and 5th avenue. The Grand Spanish Renaissance Revival style space, with its paneled oak wainscoting, elaborate trussed ceiling, stenciled decorations and mirrors is available for private events accommodating up to 300 individuals with multiple set up opportunities.

    The Plaza’s fabled Grand Ballroom has been the setting for hundreds of lavish events, including Truman Capote’s 1966 “Black and White Ball” to honor Washington Post publisher, Kay Graham. Capote said he chose The Plaza “because it has the only beautiful ballroom left in New York.”
