Unfortunately, our experience fell far short of the five-star quality we expected and paid for. Firstly, the overcrowding was excessive, making it feel more like a hassle than a luxury retreat. Waiting for transportation between points A and B felt interminable due to the insufficient number of carts available. Additionally, the scarcity of amenities such as sun beds and cabanas left us feeling unable to fully enjoy the property. Moreover, the service provided by our butler was lackluster at best, and the check-in process felt impersonal and akin to being herded like cattle. The only bright spot was the manager, Rocky, whose apologetic demeanor and efforts to rectify the situation were appreciated. His assistance in securing dinner reservations, despite our butler's insistence to the contrary, was commendable. However, our dissatisfaction extended beyond the accommodations. When seeking recommendations for family-friendly activities, we relied on the expertise of your concierge. Regrettably, the water park suggested was ill-suited for children of my kids' ages, leading to a disappointing outing upon our arrival. Overall, our experience at your resort failed to meet the high standards we anticipated and were promised. As valued patrons, we expected better service and attention to detail. We sincerely hope that you will address these concerns promptly to ensure that future guests do not encounter similar disappointments.

We had an excellent experience with our butler Alejandro. He was extremely accommodating and helpful and made our stay so pleasant! We had an amazing time by the beautiful beach and enjoyed the variety of restaurants the resort had to offer.

The resort and pools are beautiful and we always had room at the pools, the room was very nice as well. The downfall is the food quality, luckily we did not choose the all inclusive package so we were able to eat off site. The adjoining resort the Banyan Tree has much better quality food, we ate at the Thai and Italian restaurants at the Banyan Tree and they were excellent. It’s a quick walk or golf cart ride to the restaurants at the neighboring resort.

As said above. It was hard to get good service.
We stayed for 1 week as a trade from Nature's Door at Whistler. The property is gorgeous and the staff are wonderful. We thought that it would have been helpful if we had more information before we arrived in regards to food shopping, property map, how to access activities, etc. I had an accident while on the property and damaged my foot...the staff could not have been more helpful ...I thank you so much for that.

The biggest issue we had was the construction that took place right beside the house we were in. Not just the noise, but the dust. We could not enjoy the backyard at all. We were told the construction would be from 9am-5pm. However everyday it started before 9am and finished after 5pm. We completely understand construction, but what we did not understand is the response we received from concierge. While they apologised they said "We understand this can cause inconvenience, but it is part of the development growth"! We have been staying at Fairmont residences and hotels all over the world and this definitely is not a Fairmont's standard response at all! There was no interest to rectify or even make an effort to appease the situation.
