Fairmont Château Laurier’s original 1912 Ballroom reflects the grandeur of a castle, featuring Renaissance style, an 18-foot ceiling, and three stunning crystal chandeliers. With 7 different rooms to choose from, the Mezzanine features spaces of all sizes. The Burgundy Room is ideal for events up to 50. During the day, natural lighting is provided by shuttered windows, with views of Rideau Canal and Parliament Hill.

Located on our Lower Level, the Canadian room features unique alcoves and columns down each side of the room. This is an ideal location for meetings, dinners and receptions, for events ranging from 2 to 400 people.

This boardroom includes a private reception area with intimate seating, a private restroom, and double doors leading to the main meeting or dining space. A solid wood table seats up to 20 guests in plush armchairs. Natural light filters through shuttered windows, offering views of the main street and Rideau Canal, perfect for daytime events.
