I am familiar with the Fairmont brand from a fair amount of work for the brand at the Royal York and other properties in Canada. ( And a series of enjoyable stays , 52 nights at the Royal York in one year at the concierge level I was very pleased with my accommodations and experience at the Fairmont Pittsburgh. No negative observations worth commenting on. Well done all.

Everyone is so polite and welcoming. From the Valet, front desk to housekeeping. They make you fell very comfortable. The bar staff in the lounge were fun and entertaining. We always love staying at your property.
We were there over the weekend as wedding guests. The staff at the Pittsburgh location was wonderful! So nice, helpful and welcoming. Truly cannot say enough good things. The food there was also very good at both the restaurant, and the wedding! However in my opinion, the quality of the rooms does not match the price you are paying to stay there. The bed in our room did not even have a fitted sheet on the bed, and the bottom of it was torn plastic looking material.
one of your bartenders was incredibly courteous and professional (I believe his name was Randy - met him on Friday and Sunday nights before closing). He was a good bartender and an extremely nice guy. The only bad experience we had was someone on the housekeeping staff walking into the room without knocking. We had the Do Not Disturb sign down and were about to walk out, but it was still very rude for someone to not even knock. Otherwise all good!

Great location, great room. Miss the bar in the lobby. Called to checkout and was promised an email folio, never arrived.

The website advertises this as a spa hotel but does not clearly encourage spa booking in advance of the stay. Advertisements for the spa are in the room but the spa had no availability at any time for any service for either day of our stay. Luckily we found a nearby spa and nail salon and were pleased to give small businesses our money instead. Also the food was poor and overpriced. After paying $50 for 2 bottles of water, a ginger ale and a dry, tiny slice of chocolate cake from room service, we ended up eating every meal elsewhere. There was a coffee station in the room but no coffee, creamer or coffee cups and housekeeping never restocked, we had to call or stop by the desk daily to ask for more and the last day never received any after asking again. There are no liners in the trashcans either. We asked housekeeping for some and were told they don't use them. Ew. So disappointing.

I stayed in the Fairmont Pittsburgh for my birthday. I was warmly welcomed by the staff of Fairmont, had a wonderful dinner and cocktail at Level 2 restaurant and bar. The receptionists are also very great at suggesting places such as brunch spots outside of the hotel and very helpful with everything. I look forward to returning again.
As always, the staff is incredible. From the bar to the front desk to the valet. Felt very welcomed.
