I stayed two nights with a friend while attending a concert in Pittsburgh. The hotel staff was lovely, the room was fine, but for a high end hotel, the upkeep and amenities left something to be desired.
The property is really nice (as always for Fairmonts) and our suite was perfect for our group of 3. Really nice and clean rooms and bathrooms. Great location too. The snack and drink bar was almost completely empty which was strange. We weren't motivated to call down to remedy it but seemed like an oversight. Also we enjoyed the amentity of charcuterie that was delivered a few hours after arrival but would have been nice to get right away and know that it was coming because we bought a bunch of those same things and already snacked by the time the tray arrived. Overall, solid and nice stay.
Room was great. All staff I interacted with were phenomenal anf helpful and I hope they are being compensated well for their excellent service. This review would have easily been a 10 but I ordered room service one night and the food was actually really bad. Otherwise would definitely stay at a Fairmont again!
Friendly staff. Comfy beds and roomy accomodations Room was not as clean as expect (hairs in sink for example). For a hotel in business district, disappointed at limited gym hours

Went for a gathering of friends to celebrate one who is getting married. We all did spa services. The spa was great! We had a suite for the bride to be that was very spacious and clean with great views. My room was impeccably clean. The staff was wonderful. Had breakfast at the restaurant in the hotel. Very efficient and delicious! Highly recommend.
Despite the great location and bar this hotel is let down by really poor customer service. Our room was not ready at 5pm and we were compensated for this. When we got to our room we had to ask 3 times for the coffee to be refreshed as it was as left by the previous guest. We also had a broken light and the safe wasn’t working. We asked and neither were fixed. Things break and get forgotten which I understand but being ignored and having to ask multiple times is really poor service. We will not be coming back.

I spent almost $300 for a room and still had to pay $9 for a bottle of water! After I paid I discovered that I could have got free water 10 feet away from the desk, but of course I wasn't told that. In the room, a box of m&m's was on a desk, but of course not free. Stop being greedy! Needless to say, we won't ever stay there again.
