Recognized as a Montréal culinary institution since 1958 and the oldest gastronomic club in Canada, The Beaver Club was a favourite of epicureans. As the host of legendary nights and lavish meals, it has always proudly served and privileged local producers and unique ingredients. The Beaver Club was closed in 2008.

Staff was pleasant and extremely helpful. Only real problem was with the Keurigcoffee pot that was almost impossible to work. Makeup mirror was fabulous. Pillows on bed looked impressive but were too big. Would have been nice to have a bathrobe in the room. Took a few days to get onel
Could not fault it at all. The hotel was incredibly busy with conferences etc and on several nights all rooms were booked - did this affect service? Not one bit! At every level the hotel is superb. Every member of staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful - every question was answered, every request was met - all with a genuine smile and warmth. The facilities and room were kept spotless. My wife used the pool every day and I, the gym. Plenty of space, clean towels, well maintained equipment, full range of toiletries - all extremely well managed. All areas were well decorated and presented - we've all been to those hotels with fantastic lobbies but neglected elsewhere, not the the Fairmont! Great location, lovely facilities, brilliant staff. From start to finish our experience here was marvellous

Everything about the Queen Elizabeth Hotel was Amazing , the way we were greeted, the room and the staff
Stayed two nights following an East Coast cruise. First stay at this hotel since renovation (first stay was with family pre-Expo '67). Great all-around experience.
Check in was extremely long - some type of computer issue. Requested a king size bed and check in attendant gave me 2 double beds. When I asked why that was the case, she told me that a king size bed is only given if available and it's not a guarantee. I simply take what I can get. Then she gave a king size bed to my colleague who checked in direclty behind me. Rooms were standard. Lotion in the bathroom was almost finished (nothing could come out of the bottle) and never noticed or changed. Shower glass only covers half the shower and as a result water soaks the entire shower. Everything else in the hotel etc was standard. When checking out I asked for late check out (which I thought may not be possible) but before I could finish my sentence, the staff member cut in to say it was not possible. It's about how you say things that matter.

Lovely suite, terrible housekeeping
Enjoyed our stay. Room was spacious and had a great view of the “Stargate”. Staff were very helpful.
Positives: Nothing beats the location. Friendly, professional and helpful staff from reception to room service (good food, reasonable priced). Nicely designed rooms. Downsides: For this level of a hotel I'm expecting a mini fridge not only a mini bar. It feels cheap. A restaurant/lobby bar (that works before 5pm, and not a cafe) would be a great addition.
