Activities

If you are looking for family fun in British Columbia, why not take a trip to Victoria's most fabled castle on the coast. The city feels like a quaint English town with many family attractions in easy walking distance to explore during your Victoria family vacation. Try a British Columbia whale watching adventure or explore Vancouver Island.

Our Kids Rule the Castle Victoria Family Travel Package begins with a scavenger hunt around the property. Find the Dr. Suess trees and honeybees, then explore the city and end with an in-room movie complete with refreshments.  In the morning take the family to the Empress Dining Room for breakfast before starting another exciting day in BC's capital city!

Dining

At all Fairmont hotels, kids aged 5 and under eat free off the children’s menu while kids aged 6-12 eat for half price off the regular menu. New this year: The expansion of the brand’s Lifestyle Cuisine program to children’s menus - offering a healthy twist on the usual kid-friendly favorites such as chicken strips, pizza, spaghetti with meatballs and even chocolate mousse. Chefs are in the process of swapping out refined flour for whole wheat, incorporating fruits and vegetables into recipes to help meet the recommended daily fiber allowance, and employing alternative cooking methods to help ensure healthier choices are made available to young diners.
