Literary Lunch at Kaspar’s – with Michael Morpurgo
The first of a calendar of literary lunches hosted by renowned authors will take place in Kaspar’s Seafood Bar and Grill on Saturday 6 July. A family event, the literary lunch will be hosted by former writer-in-residence at The Savoy, Michael Morpurgo, who will be reading from his novel, Kaspar: Prince of Cats. This much loved children’s book was written during Morpurgo’s residency and is based on The Savoy’s most famous feline resident, who now has a brand new restaurant dedicated to him. Guests will have the opportunity to meet Michael Morpurgo after the lunch, who will welcome questions and sign copies both old and new.
12.30 – 2.30pm
Adults: £47 - three-courses with glass of wine.
Children (recommended for over 8-yrs): £29 - two-courses, soft drink and goodie bag with signed book and chocolate gift.
