WHISKY WEEKEND AT FAIRMONT EMPRESS | NOVEMBER 16-19, 2019

For the first time ever, Fairmont Empress has joined forces with world renowned Scotch makers Dalmore for an unforgettably spirited weekend of exceptional cuisine, sublime cocktails, behind-the-scenes Chef experiences, luxury accommodation and of course, the showcase event – Dalmore Royal Sunday Feast. Whisky Weekend takes place inside the iconic Fairmont Empress.

 **Saturday November 16, 2019**

Q CRAWL | 2:00PM – Hop into an LA Limo bus and visit local food producers who partner with Q at the Empress Restaurant for Pacific Northwest ingredients including Finest at Sea, The Whole Beast and Victoria Distillers – with light meal catered at Victoria Distillers. Advance RSVP required. 

NIGHT CAP & S’MORES | 9:00PM – Join us for “roast your own dessert” over a toasty warm fire and savour a seasonal night cap on the Empress veranda overlooking the twinkling night lights of Victoria’s stunning inner harbour. Blankets provided. Advance RSVP required. 

 **Sunday November 17, 2019**

VIP RECEPTION | 6:30PM – Hosted in the historic Library of Fairmont Empress, get to know your dinner hosts and fellow feasters – join us for canapes, Dalmore scotch and Unsworth wine. Dinner attire. Advance RSVP required. 

DALMORE ROYAL SUNDAY FEAST | 7:30PM – The showcase event of the weekend takes place in Q at the Empress Restaurant. Experience a 5-course dinner with Scotch and wine pairings. Dinner attire. Advance RSVP required. 

 **Monday November 18, 2019**

BEHIND THE SCENES | 12:00PM – Hotel tour with Tracey Drake, Director of Public Relations followed by an exclusive take on iconic Tea at the Empress with a special table hosted by Tea Sommelier and Lobby Lounge Manager Christian Elsing. Tour is complementary with advance RSVP required. Additional charge for afternoon tea of $82 plus tax and gratuity. Smart casual attire. 

IN CONVERSATION WITH | 3:00PM – Join us in the stunning Royal Suite for a chance to talk to Fairmont Empress Executive Chef Morgan Wilson, Dalmore Scotch expert Louis-Jerome Doise and Unsworth winemaker Dan Wright. Advance RSVP required. 

QUEEN & COUNTRY | 6:30PM – Don’t miss this curated cocktail experience, hosted by Q Bar Manager Rob Williams Advance RSVP required.

Rates from $569 based on double occupancy in a Fairmont room for a 1-night stay. Additional nights available from $311.
