【Feb 8th】DRIFTWOOD Cocktail Sessions

For one night only, five acclaimed bartenders from London and Japan come together for an exclusive cocktail event at DRIFTWOOD.

Drawing on a diverse selection of spirits, the five bartenders will collaboratively present 10 original signature cocktails, each reflecting their individual philosophies and creative sensibilities.

Set on the 43rd floor, guests are invited to take in the glittering Tokyo skyline while a live DJ performance sets the mood, transforming the space into an immersive nighttime experience.

Each bartender’s creations will be served simultaneously across DRIFTWOOD’s three distinctive bars, offering a dynamic and multi-layered cocktail journey throughout the evening.

About This Event

  • Guest Bartender:

    • Gento Torigata | Waltz (London)
      After gaining experience at renowned bars in Singapore and London, Gento Torigata opened his own bar, Waltz,  which has quickly become a major success in London.
    • Makiko Ohtsu | Bar Sebek (Fukuoka)
      In 2021, Makiko Ohtsu was crowned Japan Champion at the Suntory The Cocktail Awards.
    • Fumiaki Nozato | Ista Coffee Elements (Osaka)
      Fumiaki Nozato achieved the remarkable feat of winning first place in Japan in both the Diageo World Class and the Coffee Cocktail Competition.
    • Takafumi Makita | Lab (Kyoto)
      His Taiwanese bar, Lab, was selected as one of Asia's 50 Best Bars, and he has since opened a second bar in his hometown of Kyoto.
    • Masato Ishioka | yozora (Hokkaido, Yoichi)
      Masato Ishioka won the first place in Japan at the Diageo World Class 2024.
