After experiencing Fairmont Hotels through Europe and North America, it is expected that a premium price includes premium benefits. I can understand that following COVID, turndown may not be standard in the industry, but when requested by the Fairmont Royal Service from day one and not receiving it at any point of the 3 night stay is unacceptable (requesting daily). Even the small expectation like drinking water needed to be requested nightly, as housekeeping did not provide with daily service. Robes and slippers (a historical Fairmont standard) needed to be requested by each room of our group. The nightly resort fees provided little benefit as tours and tastings, which we were very interested in, were booked well in advance, although we were told additional tours may be added at the hotel's discretion (this does not help with vacation planning, nor did it happen). Pool use and "free" wifi should be a hotel standard as it is at Holiday Inn.

I was in awe of the beauty of this place. The stay was comfortable the amenities were great!
My husband and I spent Thanksgiving at this beautiful hotel. We were treated wonderfully by every member of the staff we encountered. Thanks go out to Cindy at reception who upgraded us to a beautiful suite with amazing views! We would highly recommend a visit to the most photographed hotel in the world. Now we know why!
From the help I received from the concierges by email prior to our arrival, to the final delivery of our car by the valet, my husband's and my stay at Fairmont Chateau Frontenac was perfect. We enjoyed fabulous cuisine at Champlain Restaurant and Place Dufferin, and creative cocktails at the (1608?) bar outside SAM Bistro. Dressed up for the holidays, the Chateau was particularly magical.
visited the hotel for a romantic week and loved the restaurants, room and concierge floor. A fantastic experience.
We went to the chateau to surprise my dad for his 75th birthday. I rented a queen size bed and was given a double bed which was quite disappointing. We had diner at the Champlain and the server wasn’t the most pleasant for the money we spent although I have to say the chef who brought us to choose our cheese was very nice. The next morning we had the very expensive buffet. Underwhelming food wasn’t hot and eggs were not fluffy like they use to. In this economy where every dollar count my stay cost me more than 1200 for two and we didn’t sleep well because the bed was too small and we went to have lunch a few jokes after the buffet cause we didn’t eat much there. One thing I will say we had cocktail at the bar close to the main restaurant and the service there was amazing.

Had two night stay, have been a guest of the Frontenac numerous times, facilty service and staff are always the best.
As a famous historical building hotel, Fairmont Le Château Frontenac is absolutely beautiful with top notch restaurant and bar, the room is comfortable and feel luxurious, the service is amazing and welcoming. The only thing I wish there is a water dispenser or ice machine at every floor instead of just the pool/gym area, water is a basic need and it's hard to get. Other than the first 2 box water on the first day, there is no new water for the remaining stay. I also hope there is a small convenient store in the hotel to grab some small necessities or toiletries. If the hotel has the budget, it would also be good to refurbish all the hotel hallways, and refresh with new carpet, they are starting to look a little dated.
