Focus on Recylicing and Energy Conservation

We have partnered with various organizations, such as the EPA and Telluride Eco Action Partners, on a study regarding the recylcing habits of a town driven by tourism and implemented several practices to encourage all who stay at theFranz Klammer Lodge to recycle by implenting more sustainable guest facing amenities and reminders throughout their residence.

Our sustainable engagements

Our comprehensive recycling program encourages guests and staff to minimize waste by recycling paper, plastic, and other materials.

We partner with Telluride Eco Action Partners to ensure we are creating sustainable practices and reducing greehouse gas emissins.

  • Telluride Eco Action Partners

    Telluride Eco Action Partners focuses on creating a local sustainable business community while reducing greenhouse gas emissions through providing resources on anything from LED upgrades to programs focused on greenhouse gas reduction, focusing primarily on energy and waste.

  • Colorado Department of Transportation

    We partner with the Colorado Department of Transportation to adopt and care for a portion of the highway coming into Telluride. Every season our colleagues get together to pick up litter from the side of the highway and dispose of it properly.
