Thanks to Irene for helping me plan our stay and set up the room to surprise my fiancé for our recent engagement. The entire concierge team was very attentive, friendly, and accommodating, from the valet to just asking a question in the lobby. We really enjoyed the quality of the room and the view from the balcony. The food at the clubhouse was tasty too.
Im always incredibly comfortable in the rooms with plush bedding and balconies that overlook the beautiful and peaceful property. I was able to hike during my visit this time and pet the gorgeous horses I. The paddock. The Grand is on of my favorite places in the world.

Everyone at the resort was very friendly and inviting. The rooms were beautiful and spacious. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed hanging out at the bar and Sid the bartender was awesome. Would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I and our toddler, along with another family, flew down for the long weekend. The property, meals, and service were initially 10/10. We came back the afternoon of our third day to a toilet that was clogged and began flooding our room. It took over an hour for the front desk to send some one to check it out. We were contacted another hour later and told that we would have to pack up the whole room and wait for another room to be available. We had to cancel all plans for our final night to wait and move rooms. We were not offered anything for the enormous inconvenience.
We were celebrating 2 milestone birthdays- 90 and 50 and everyone went out of their way to make the celebrants feel special!

It was our first time staying at Fairmont Grand Del Mar. It is a beautiful hotel with expansive grounds and our room was amazing. The hotel is extremely clean and all of the employees were very friendly.
