FAIRMONT La Hacienda Costa del Sol

The resort is a scenic 1 hour 20 minutes drive from Malaga International Airport (AGP), a 1 hour 15 minutes drive from Jerez Airport (XRY), and a 25 minute drive from Gibraltar Airport (GIB). Private luxury transfers can be seamlessly coordinated through our Concierge team.

Guests may check in after 3:00 p.m.
Check-out is at 12:00 noon.

For arrivals prior to check-in time, pre-registration conditions may be requested in order to guarantee the room is available upon arrival.

Upon arrival, we place a temporary hold on your credit card for the remaining room balance, plus an incidental deposit of Euros 100 per night to cover any seamless room charges (such as dining, spa treatments, or Kids Club activities).

This is a hold, NOT a charge, and any unused funds are instantly released by the hotel upon check-out.

Pets (dogs & cats) are welcome at our hotel up to 1 pet per room and a maximum weight of 8 kgs. Pets must be supervised and on a leash at all times and are not allowed at the Spa, Fitness Centre, Kids’ Club and Swimming Pools, with the exception of service dogs. Special cleaning fees may apply.

We value your time and that of our artisans. To avoid a 100% cancellation fee, please provide at least 24 hours' notice for any modifications or cancellations. Group bookings require 72 hours' notice.

The resort features three distinct swimming pools. Guests can relax in our stunning heated outdoor infinity pool offering panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea, enjoy the expansive main outdoor pool with its multiple sunbathing zones, or retreat to the tranquil indoor lap pool located within the adult-only Fairmont Spa.

Complimentary premium loungers and pool towels are provided, and private poolside cabanas are available to enhance your luxury experience.

Note: Pool cabanas have a charge.

The Fitness Center at Fairmont La Hacienda offers cardiovascular and strength-training equipment, dedicated yoga and Pilates studios, and personal training options.

• Hotel Guests: Open 24/7 via room key access.

• Day Pass / External Guests: Open during standard Spa hours (10:00 AM – 7:00 PM).

• Requirements: Athletic attire and closed-toe sports shoes are required. Access is restricted to guests aged 16 and older.

Smoking is NOT permitted inside Fairmont La Hacienda Costa Del Sol, including guest rooms, suites, villas, balconies or terraces. Designated outdoor smoking areas are located throughout the resort grounds, and colleagues can assist with guidance to the nearest location. Cleaning charges will be subject to one extra night charge

• Valet Parking Service: Available 24/7 for guests.

• Overnight / Covered Parking Fee: €25 per night/day for secure indoor/covered parking.

• Alternative Option: Complimentary outdoor street self-parking is also available.

• EV Charging: Electric vehicle charging stations are available on request.

Access to our dedicated Kids’ Club (ages 0–9) and Teens’ Club (ages 9–13+) at Fairmont La Hacienda Costa del Sol is completely free of charge for registered hotel guests.

• Children can participate in our supervised weekly schedule of arts and crafts, outdoor playground games, pool splash times, and creative workshops at no extra cost. 
• The Teens' Club, fully equipped with PlayStation 5 consoles, board games, and a movie lounge and is also complimentary.

(Please note: While the daily supervised activities are free, children under 4 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for safety. Private individual babysitting services can also be arranged through the concierge for an additional fee).*

• Non-Hotel Guest Access: External players are welcome to play 36-hole courses (La Hacienda Links 18 holes and Heathland 18 holes ) to enjoy the Mediterranean views and Gibraltar panoramas.

• Club Rentals & Dress Code: Premium TaylorMade and Callaway rental sets (right & left-handed) are available at the Pro Shop. Guests must wear standard golf attire (collared shirts, tailored shorts/trousers) and soft-spiked shoes.

• Tee Time Reservations: It is recommended to book 30 to 60 days in advance. The Golf Concierge can assist with bookings, driving range balls, and coaching sessions.

• Club Shipping: Guests can ship clubs directly to the resort prior to arrival. Address shipments with your full name and clearly mark "Guest Arrival Date and Guest Name¨

• Hotel Guest Benefits: Registered hotel guests receive exclusive green fee rates, a shared GPS-equipped buggy included with every round, and complimentary resort shuttle service directly to the courses and clubhouse.

We offer curated, tiered pricing structures for guests staying with us for 14 nights or longer, with deeper incentives for monthly residences.

These long-term rates vary by season and room type (with our multi-bedroom villas and suites being the preferred choice for long stays).

We offer a dedicated, full-service Concierge desk located in the main lobby of the hotel. Our expert team is on hand to craft a seamless, personalized experience. They will gladly assist you with restaurant and spa reservations, arranging local transportation and airport transfers, booking tee times on our world-class golf courses, and organizing customized excursions or outdoor activities across the stunning Andalusian region

Bellmen welcome you at the entrance of the hotel. They will be happy to assist you with your luggage while checking in or out.

The Housekeeping team is pleased to offer twice-daily cleaning service including turn-down service to ensure the best possible comfort of all our guests.

Dry-cleaning and laundry services are available to our guests (fees apply).

• To curate your perfect wellness sanctuary, we highly encourage booking treatments at least two weeks before your stay. Weekend slots and sunset appointments fill up quickly.
• The Spa facilities, treatment rooms, and the heated infinity pool are a quiet sanctuary reserved exclusively for guests aged 16 and older
• To guarantee a serene, relaxing, and uncrowded environment for all of our guests, access to our thermal suites, saunas, and relaxation lounges is limited to 2 hours per guest, per day. We highly recommend booking your time slot with the spa reception prior to your arrival to secure your preferred window.

With incredible views stretching over the sea to Gibraltar the hotel’s expansive and elegantly appointed Grand Ballroom is perfect for weddings, large-scale conferences, gala dinners, and corporate events. Equipped with state-of-the-art audiovisual technology and flexible seating arrangements, it can comfortably accommodate up to 500 guests. 

The space is divided into three sections: the main ballroom area, a refined reception hall, and a stunning terrace with plunging Mediterranean views.

  Guests with severe allergies or strict medical dietary requirements should notify Guest Relations 24 to 48 hours in advance to arrange custom, cross-contamination-free menus..

   

  Standard reservations accommodate up to 8 guests. For groups larger than 8 or private events, the Guest Relations and Events team can arrange bespoke set menus.

   

  El Faro and Umbra are highly family-friendly with dedicated children's menus and highchairs. Dalmar offers an intimate adult atmosphere with no children’s menu ( private babysitting and Kids Club evening events are available for parents to be able to dine at Dalmar )

   

  Pet Policy: Well-behaved, leashed pets are welcome at designated outdoor terraces (El Faro and Umbra) with water bowls provided. Pets are strictly prohibited in all indoor dining areas and the entirety of Dalmar (certified service dogs excepted).
