Cable Cars

Fairmont Heritage Place, Ghirardelli Square is two blocks away from the Hyde-Powell Cable Car Line. The Powell-Hyde line also begins at the Powell Market turntable and runs over Nob and Russian hills before ending at Aquatic Park near Ghirardelli Square. 

 

Golden Gate Bridge

Easily one of the most famous San Francisco Bay Area attractions, located only 3.5 miles away from Fairmont Heritage Place. Indulge in spectacular views of San Francisco with a leisurely stroll across the Golden Gate Bridge. 

 

Golden Gate Park

San Francisco's Golden Gate Park is one of the largest man-made parks in the world. It offers numerous activities for the entire family, including running, rollerblading, biking, pedal-boating, fly-fishing, handball, tennis, museums, the Steinhart Aquarium, botanical gardens and more.

Levi's Stadium

Home of the San Francisco 49ers, Levi's Stadium is located 46 miles from the hotel. The San Francisco 49ers season extends from September through December, not including the playoffs.

Walking Tours

Walking Tours are offered throughout the city. You may visit San Francisco's 'Painted Ladies' to learn the history of these Victorian Homes, or do the same on Nob Hill, Chinatown or Fisherman's Wharf. A walking tour is great way to experience the most famous sights to see in San Francisco.  

 

Chinatown

Located within a mile and a half of Fairmont Heritage Place Ghirardelli Square, Chinatown is home to the largest Chinese community outside of China. This area is filled with exotic shops, restaurants, produce markets, herbalists and temples in its 24 square blocks of teeming activity in the midst of downtown.  

 

Fisherman's Wharf
