We had booked for one night. We wanted to take advantage of the reputation of the Fairmont but we were disappointed. In fact, we arrived at 4 p.m. and the room was still not ready. I am aware that there was GITEX the day before but these are things to anticipate in order to welcome new customers. We were made to wait at the bar with a welcome cocktail until they came back to us, after 15 minutes still no news. We had to go to reception again to find out how long the room would be available, we had to wait again at the bar then a receptionist came to inform us that we still had to wait 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, no one came to pick us up, we had to go to reception again to find out where the room was. The room being finally ready, Miri kindly led us, pointing out the different points of interest. Arriving in the room we still had to wait 15 minutes to receive our luggage. The room being prepared in a rush, they forgot to place amenities. The next day, we had breakfast at the restaurant, the waitress placed us in a room where the set-up was not done. The waiter forgot my husband's cafe americano. However, on the positive side, the hotel is amazing, the swimming pools are great, the room is large and beautiful, the bed comfortable and the girls at the kid's club are all very nice. To summarize, the hotel and the infrastructure are very good but the service is not what one expects from a Fairmont unfortunately, we had better service at the Sofitel.
I have stayed at multiple Fairmont hotels and was disappointed by the service in general. Some staff were friendly but the majority were not. We were very disappointed by the lack of courtesy. On our last night the service was so bad we paid our bill and walked out with out receiving our dessert having waited in excess of an hour. I would not recommend a stay at the Fairmont in Marrakech. The place itself is comfortable but was not encouraged by the rest.

We were fortunate to enjoy Four nights at the hotel and utilized all restaurants, spa, hair salon and concierge services which were constantly well executed. All colleagues we interacted with were highly engaged and accommodating, we will return!

The property is huge with amongst others a stunning pool and an excellent oriental restaurant!
The welcoming ambience, cleanliness and tranquility of this facility is surpassed by the warmth and friendliness of the staff. They made every interaction memorable.
