Named 'Best Steakhouse' by Boston Magazine, the Oak Room is much more than a steakhouse; it is a gastronomic experience.
As part of The Fairmont Copley Plaza’s $20 million plus restoration project, the space containing the award-winning Oak Room restaurant is being updated and refreshed. As of January 1, the restaurant will continue to operate out of the beautiful St. James Room, continuing to offer a luxurious, intimate atmosphere and serving the same distinctive menu during breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The dinner menu features a variety of classics and contemporary favorites. Start off with Seared Crab Cakes, Lobster Bisque or the Calamari Salad. The Oak Room also offers a full raw bar selection. For your entrée, select from a menu of prime steak and chops, including Chateaubriand, Steak Au Poivre, Lamb Chops, Veal Chops or the very popular 20-ounce Bone-in Rib Eye. For those who prefer seafood, the Oak Room offers a variety of options, including Atlantic Salmon, Swordfish Steak, Haddock Filet and, of course, Lobster.
The lunch menu features a wide array of sandwiches, salads and soups, plus traditional steakhouse and seafood entrees. The breakfast menu features classics like French toast and Belgian waffles, and local specialties like the Jonah Crab Frittata.
