Babysitting

Bell Staff / Door Staff

Bellmen are located at the Fifth Avenue Porte-cochere and in the Fifth Avenue hotel lobby. They will be happy to assist you with porterage and luggage storage.

Butler – White Glove Service

The Plaza Butlers will provide the ultimate standard of luxury and comfort and will anticipate your every need and accommodate your every wish.

Check-In / Check-Out

Check-in time is 3:00 p.m.
Check-out time is 12:00 noon.

Concierge

A Concierge is available 24-hours a day in the Fifth Avenue hotel lobby.   The Concierge is available to assist guests with an array of needs and special requests to include dinner reservations, theater tickets and directions to major attractions.

Elevators

Guests have easy access to elevators off the Fifth Avenue hotel lobby.

Express Check-Out

Guests who provided an address and a credit card number at time of reservation or at check-in have access to different check-out options:

  • Video Check-Out: This feature will allow the guest to review his/her account status directly from the guest room's television set. The guest only needs to follow the instructions to complete the check-out.
  • Voice-Mail Check-Out: This feature will allow the guest to dial the hotel check-out extension from his/her room. The guest will need to follow specific instructions, such as providing the guest's full name, address and room number.
  • Express Check-Out Box: The night prior to the departure, a copy of the bill is slipped under the guest's door. If all charges are in order, the guest then only needs to sign the bill and drop it in the Express Check-Out Box that is located at the Front Desk.

Housekeeping

The Housekeeping staff is pleased to offer twice daily turndown service.

Laundry Services

Same-day dry-cleaning and laundry services are available seven days a week. Laundry bags and price list are located in the guest room closet. Overnight shoe shine is also available.

Parking

The hotel's parking facility is off-site. Valet parking is available at a price of $65.00/night with no in-and-out privileges.  A surcharge will be applied to any oversize vehicles.

Pet Policy

The Plaza accepts small dogs or cats (approx. 15-20 pounds maximum).  Other animals are not permitted. Pets cannot be left unattended in the room. All guests checking in with a pet have to sign a release accepting responsibility for any damage caused by the pet. If there is damage caused by the pet the owner must pay all charges incurred in full to have it repaired. Seeing-eye dogs are always welcome.

Wheelchair Accessibility

The hotel has several rooms with wide doors for wheelchair access, and each bathroom offers grab bars with a roll-in-shower. Also available upon request are the following items:

  • Raised toilet seats
  • Clamp-on tub-bars
  • Night lights
  • Non-slip mats
