Oak Bar
The Oak Bar, once the offices of the brokerage firm E.F. Hutton, became a part of The Plaza's heritage in 1945 and soon became an icon on its own accord. Overlooking the vibrant views of Central Park, the newly restored Oak Bar will resume its standing as New York's most famous bar when it re-opens in summer 2008. Enjoy a martini in a comfortable setting with dark sable oak walls, leather bound club chairs, and the original cityscape murals by Everett Shinn.
