 Fairmont Friday The Mallard Lounge from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.    

Begin your long weekend festivities in The Mallard Lounge. A locals' favourite end-of-week tradition, Fairmont Fridays feature a selected $6 Whistler beer, $6 wine and a specially-price themed cocktail. Complimentary appetizers will be served along with live entertainment and games on the Croquet Lawn.

Have you ever dreamed of participating in a parade? Here is your opportunity to join the Fairmont Chateau Whistler float on a tour of Whistler Village to celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday. This year’s theme is ‘Strong, Proud and Free’ and we welcome our registered hotel guests to join in on the fun. Please meet our Whistler Experience Guide, Ryan, in the hotel lobby at 11:30 a.m. to be escorted by foot to the parade departure area. The parade is expected to end at 12:30 p.m..

Join us for some good ol' Canadian fun! Hosted by the Whistler Experience Guide. Sticks will be available to borrow while supplies last.

Cedar Bracelet Making* | Hotel Lobby 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
Join our Cultural Ambassador from the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre for a welcome to the territories of the Squamish and Lil'wat Nations. Enjoy a traditional language introduction, a brief overview of the territory in which Whistler is situated, and a powerful drum song that caps off the presentation in an authentic and meaningful way. To conclude, we'll learn the technique used to turn inner cedar bark into our very own takeaway cedar rope bracelet. 

The History of Canadian Wine Making (ages 19+) * | Location TBD 3:30 - 4:15 p.m.
Learn an overview of Canadian wine making as you sip and sample a few selections. Come early as seats are limited. Must be 19+ years of age.

Sprinkler Party* | Croquet Lawn from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. (water regulation dependent)

Family Water Balloon Toss Challenge* Croquet Lawn 10:00 a.m.   
For kids and 'kids at heart.' Hone your water balloon tossing skills and prepare for an exploding good time on the Croquet Lawn beside the Mallard Terrace. Prizes to be won. All ages welcomed!
