Green Partnership Section

Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has been a global leader in responsible tourism for over two decades. During this time, we have strived to minimize our impact on the planet through our award-winning Green Partnership Program as well as numerous activities and initiatives put forth at the hotel level.

The Fairmont Green Partnership program allows our eco-friendly hotels to meet and exceed guest expectations of operational sustainability.

It focused on improvements in waste management, and energy and water conservation at our properties, and innovative community outreach programs involving local groups and partnerships.

The Green Partnership program, executed by property level Green Teams, supported our green resorts' sustainability efforts which encompassed everything from recycling and organic waste diversion in the hotel’s kitchens to retrofitting energy-efficient lighting.

The Eco-Innovation Signature Project Program still exists, it however has evolved into the Fairmont CAREs Program.

Fairmont Partner

Fairmont strives to partner with strong organizations and industry groups that support our sustainability strategy. In addition, Fairmont actively participates in leading industry groups to help develop industry programs and standards.
