We loved our stay. Room and bed was very comfortable. I had the best sleep I’ve had in weeks. Staff was very friendly.

A great stay at the Frontenac as expected. My only criticism is that we had stayed with Fairmont in Ottawa and Mont Tremblant immediately preceding our stay in Quebec City and those were arguably better due to their Gold lounges having better food selections (despite being ‘only’ 4 stars), though I still think that is high praise as the stay was great! The room was a perfect size and had all the amenities we needed. I would also suggest the city tour at 10am which is free as part of the resort fee, which was absolutely fantastic and we learnt so much. Staff in the Gold lounge were also very professional and helped me meet my dietary requirements, including remembering my preferences each time. The view was great, parking was easy and staff were attentive at all times. No difficulty in recommending a stay at the Frontenac.
Being on the 14th floor was incredible. The hotel. The staff. The service. Exceeded everything. Can’t wait to get back. Kuddos to the staff on the 14th floor. You guys made the difference. Thank you

Wonderful! The hotel is so beautiful! From the moment you arrive until the time you depart, everyone you encounter is so pleasant and helpful. I will definitely be back!!!
My daughter and I stayed at Château Frontenac for a mother-daughter getaway. We enjoyed all aspects of our stay except for our spa experience. We knew that the Moment Spa was being renovated however the booking emails we received did not adequately describe the extent of the renovations; only the temporary front entrance was described. We did NOT expect any of what we got: a temporary spa check-in room that was very messy with cords and papers and products all over, a temporary waiting room that was equally messy, then doing our treatments (daughter and myself together in the same room) in a temporary treatment room with both of us plus the estheticians crammed into what was obviously an emptied-out guest room with the furniture removed. The treatment room was again messy with not nearly enough space for everyone and everything in it. Our spa experience was crowded, awkward, and pretty awful....and incredibly, eye-wateringly expensive. For the money spent on the spa I was expecting a relaxing high-end experience and it was by far VERY VERY worst spa experience of my life. I did not have issue with our estheticians skills, simply the environment we were in. The spa should be closed until renovations are complete; asking guests to pay full price for such a subpar experience is terrible. Other than the spa, the rest of the hotel (guest room, bars & restaurants, guest experiences) were lovely. Our room was and clean and beautiful and to a high standard. The food was delicious! We were treated well by the staff. We overall enjoyed our stay and would gladly stay again but would not use the spa or recommend it to others.

My husband and I booked the Chateau Frontenac hotel for a 10 day getaway. We enjoyed the gold floor service everyday. We got to know the servers/hosts personally and they also offered suggestions on where to sightsee. We felt pampered and they knew our coffee preferences before we ordered. The maple lattes were delicious hot and iced. The hotel offered complimentary tours, wine tasting, mixology, and other experiences. By the time we checked out we felt like family and would definitely return again.
