I have stayed at the Princess on several occasions and it is okay but very overpriced. Service is courteous but very slow. I had prepaid for my stay but was billed again for my rooms, although I did not notice it until I had left the hotel. When I came back to have it corrected, it was sorted but took quite a long time.

Stay was fine but rooms are very tired for the amount of money you pay. Lobby and restaurants are good. Windows are dirty and you can't open. It's bermuda, you want to look out!
My husband and I stayed here with a group for 4 nights. The staff was very helpful and service was quick when requested. So glad that they provided bottled water. The breakfast buffet was great, but a little pricey. We didn't eat any other meals here. I enjoyed walking around the resort and seeing the art.
Mother and 2 daughters (16/25) had a wonderful birthday sleepover celebration. The Fairmont Gold team went above and beyond for us Rolly George Pascoal & Peter and the ladies were all outstanding and made our brief trip a joy! Thank you!
My family of four had such an incredible time - the beds were cozy, the room was perfect and quiet at night for sleeping, the grounds were beautiful, the pool was phenomenal, especially during dinner hour when we practically had it to ourselves and the hotel beach was like a paradise. The access to kayaks at the beach was especially fun and the water was beautiful for swimming in the cove to spot parrot fish. On top of all of this, hotel was only a short walk to the bus terminal which made exploring the island so easy! Would definitely return. Thank you!
Not the usual experience! See above. I was disappointed that I was not contacted by the hotel regarding the fire on the first night of my stay - Wednesday 17th April. It was quite frightening to begin with and when we were able to go back to our rooms, there was still smoke and the smell was awful. I expected to be offered a room change. I also expected a phone call the next day to check on me and to apologize for the event - nothing! I also expected some form of compensation - nothing!
Our stay was everything we hoped it would be. The hotel and it's amenities were excellent, and the service was superb!! I hope to stay again one day.
There is no doubt that The Princess is a premiere hotel, one that I look forward to staying at every time I need to be in Bermuda. However, on my last stay, there was a fire alarm at about 1:00AM. It certainly wasn't the hotel's fault but I feel that the hotel could have done a better job at communicating not only what was happening as it was happening but also what had happened. Receiving an email (or was it a text message?) about a day later basically without any insight fell well short of what I expected.
Checked in the night of April 17th. Did not like our room. Bathroom was really small. Asked to change rooms and they said they had nothing available for that night. I spoke to a manager, and she said I could change the next day. Somebody would be in touch with me. Nobody ever got in touch with me. I stayed in the room in. I was not happy. What kind of customer service is that? I figured after speaking to the manager they could get something done.
