The place seems dreary and old. Needs a facelift

We enjoyed staying at the Fairmont. Our 1 BR Suite was very comfortable and centrally located. We particularly enjoyed the fireplace. All of the staff members we encountered were excellent! Two comments about banquets: 1) it was strange that the cash bar didn't accept credit cards. 2) I found the softdrinks at the cash bar to be overpriced...even for California. The wine and cocktails were typical CA pricing. But, again, if you were buying drinks for a couple of folks during our nightly events, you needed to have hundreds of dollars in cash since cards were not accepted.
The resort was OK, but nothing special. The support staff did not seem as if they enjoyed working there.
We were here for a New York State Bar conference. This was a wonderful location with quiet and serene settings, yet one can walk right into downtown Sonoma and enjoy the charming town as well. I wish I was able to meet your Canine Ambassador, Chardonnay Fairmont, but my timing did not work out as such. I did meet Chardonnay's colleague in Boston, Cori, at the Fairmont Copley!
You would not fix the A/C, the car wash area was small with other cars parked there that inhibited the ability to wash cars. The food was basic motel 6 food, except the last dinner, and for what you charged the club, I am speechless. Charging $35 corkage for Napa wines, ridicules. Accor should be embarrassed to include you in their portfolio, we have stayed at several Fairmont's, you are nowhere even close to that caliber of service.

Attentive staff. Nice grounds. Good service.
Very nice. Staff was friendly, clean rooms and good food. Only negative was parking on site was difficult because of the large group staying at the hotel.
Attended the PCA Treffen Sonoma and had an excellent time
